"The story of this design;
Zane and I are business partners and life partners, which means we live together, work together, and enjoy all aspects of life together. Learning to work with your significant other is a big adjustment, especially when you both have ADHD. This means both of our brains get derailed easily from outside factors, but we also can't help but share spur of the moment ideas with each other. Zane used to always say "I need a hat", whenever I started talking to him while he was in the middle of a thought. Without warning, this interruption makes it hard for someone with ADHD to remember what they were just thinking about. Simultaneously, its hard for someone with ADHD to not blurt out ideas when we feel passionate about them. The "hat" would serve as a "I'm in the middle of a thought" symbol. As much as I'd love to see zane putting on and taking off a silly hat multiple times throughout the day, I felt the more practical tool could be a mug. Faced one way, we know that the other one is super focused on an idea. Faced the other way, is open to conversation and brainstorm.
